16th October 2011 -
Ron has organised a run to Jumilla with a visit to a Bodega. The run will be about and hour and a half drive and at the Bodega there will be a guided tour and then for the price of 5 Euros you can sample tapa with 4 glasses of wine - this is okay for the passengers on the day! A meal has been booked at a restaurant approximately 25 minutes from the Bodega. Meeting time is 9.30am at the Lo Monte Hotel with a departure time of 10.00am. Please advise Ron if you wish to join this run.
23rd October 2011 - 5th Anniversary Dinner -
An evening dinner has been organised at the Veni, Vidi, Vici restaurant in the International Marina. There will be a drinks reception in the Cafeteria Marina Club at 7.30pm with dinner being served at 8:30pm The menu is as follows:
STARTERS
Shared starters of baguette bread with alioli, salad with chicken breast, pate, cheese, ham, salami and calamares a la romana
MAIN COURSE
Chicken breast in cajun spices with gratinated potatoes
Sole fish filet with lemon sauce, rice and creamy cauliflower
Pork loin in pepper sauce, steak fries and vegetables
Fresh fusili pasta in mustard sauce
DESSERT
Home made anniversary cake
COFFEE
A bottle of wine between 4 people and water - anyone not drinking wine can have one soft drink
