CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

AGM 5th October 2011
There were 24 members present at the AGM, with apologies from Keith Nicol and Steve and Jean McClean. The minutes from the 2010 agenda were read by Gaynor, Ron gave a Chairmans report and Joseph gave a treasury report. New members present at this minute were Margaret Crowther and Siegfried and Karen Ferckel - a warm welcome to them. As there were no new nominations for the position of President, Colin Ball nominated Ron which was seconded by Evelyn Harrison. Ron advised that Keith Nicol has stood down from the position of Vice-President. John Wallis was nominated for this position by Albino Careiro and was seconded by Muriel. Ron advised that Joseph and Gaynor will remain in their posts of Treasurer and Secretary. Vocals for this year are Mike Stansmore, Susan Lakin, Vince Anson.
Any Other Business
Subs are now due. If you did not attend the AGM but intend to remain a member of the club, please inform Gaynor and advise her when you will be paying your subs.
We are still collecting gifts for the Christmas raffle so if anyone has any items to donate, please bring them along to the November meeting.
