PICNIC ON THE HISTORIC ISLAND OF TABARCA
SUNDAY 16th MAY 2010
10.00h Meet in the Hostel/Restaurant Gallego on the left before Traffic Lights in the Village
La Marina on the old N332 to Alicante.
10.30h Leave for Santa Pola on the N332 to Alicante, Turn off to Santa Pola and follow signs to Puerto.
Turn Left T Junction at Sea Front, then Right to Barca Tarbarca and park in secure car park with attendant in front of the Catamaran boats.
11.30h Leave in Catamaran with glass bottom boat to view under the sea for the Tabarca Islands.
11.55h arrive on Tabarca and enjoy the tranquil Island and a chance to visit the 240 yr. Church built by the Genoese and the small town also the ancient lighthouse with the beach to enjoy your picnic.
16.00h return to Santa Pola and your car.
